Note that tournament was moved to Feb 20th! SECTIONS Rally: 4 Round Swiss/Game 65. Open to all students in grades K-12. Players in this section can earn MCA Scholastic Rally points with the top players qualifying to play in the Sweet 16 in March. This is not a section for new players. UNDER 1200: 4 Round Swiss/Game 65. Open to all students in grades K-12 Rated under 1200 or unrated. UNDER 900: 5 Round Swiss/Game 30. Open to all students in grades K-8 Rated under 900 or unrated. UNDER 500: 5 Round Swiss/Game 30. Open to all students in grades K-5 Rated Under 500 or unrated. INDIVIDUAL PRIZES: Top Individuals in each section, Top Players in class including Unrated. TEAM PRIZE FOR OPEN SECTION: Top Team (based on top 2 players from the same school) TEAM PRIZE FOR ALL OTHER SECTIONS: Top Teams (Based on top 4 players from the same school). A school MUST have at least 2 players in the section to qualify for a team prize. ENTRY FEES: $12 regular registration online by 2/16, $20 late, $25 at-the-door. Preregistration Online registration is at http://chestertown.eventbrite.com. At the Door Registration OPEN & U1200 SECTIONS: 8:15 TO 9:00 AM. Round 1 begins at 9:30AM. At-the-door Registrants not in line by 8:50 AM will receive a 1/2 point 1st round bye. All OTHER SECTIONS: 8:30 TO 9:15 AM. Round 1 begins at 10AM. At-the-door Registrants not in line by 9:30 AM will receive a 1/2 point 1st round bye. USCF Membership is required and may be purchased at the site. Otherwise, please bring current USCF card or proof of Membership. Memberships Are: Scholastic $18 and $23 (12 & under) Youth $20 and $27 (15 & under) Young Adult $24 or $31(24 & Under) All entry and membership checks, please make payable to MCA.
